The National Association of Certified Home Inspectors Chicagoland Chapter Chicago or aka NACHI Chicago, is the Chicago area chapter of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors. NACHI Chicago, is made up of home inspectors that belong to the InterNational Association of Certified Home Inspectors. All our members are licensed home inspectors by the State of Illinois. Our home inspectors conduct home inspections in Chicago and suburbs including but not limited to the collar counties of Boone, Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, LaSalle, Lake, McHenry and Will. Our job is to provide valuable information to home buyers and sellers, real estate professionals and new home inspectors about the home inspection process and the importance of a thorough home inspection. Our chapter provides Continuing Education programs, open to all Illinois licensed home inspectors, to ensure Illinois has the most knowledgeable and well trained home inspectors in the profession. We want the public to have a positive and informative home inspection experience by some of the best-trained and knowledgeable inspectors in the business.

NACHI Chicago NFP is an Illinois “Not for Profit” Educational Association dedicated to professionalism and excellence in the home inspection industry and a 501(c)(6) Business League with our activities directed to the improvement of home inspection business conditions for all home inspectors and our clients. Our Home Inspectors are licensed by the State of Illinois, and follow the Illinois Standards of Practice, and are Certified by the largest national home inspection association in the world, InterNACHI, with the highest Standards of Practice, continuing education requirements and Code of Ethics in the profession.
The goal of any home inspection is to report to you, our client, on those systems and components inspected that, in the opinion of the inspector, are significantly deficient; and to provide reasons why a system or component is significantly deficient.
InterNACHI also provides free or very low cost continuing education to our members through NACHI.TV, a groundbreaking and completely accredited on-line education provider.
The NACHI Chicago chapter meets on the third Thursday of every month at 6:30 pm*. Educational meetings start 30 minutes earlier.
